Our Women’s Only Krav Maga classes are a great way to learn practical and effective self-defence techniques in a supportive environment. You’ll gain simple and powerful skills that can help you feel safer and more confident in everyday life — all while improving your fitness, having fun and sharing a few laughs along the way.

These classes are open to women from aged 13+, of all backgrounds and fitness levels. Whether you’re completely new to self-defence or have trained before, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space to learn at your own pace, build strength and grow in confidence.

Absolutely! Our women’s self-defence classes are perfect for complete beginners as well as those with previous martial arts experience. Every session is structured so you can start at your own level and progress safely and confidently. Our experienced instructors are here to help you build skills and strength from day one.

Yes — we proudly offer dedicated Women’s Only Krav Maga classes in Melbourne. These sessions are designed specifically for female students, creating an inclusive and safe space to learn self-defence techniques and build confidence alongside a community. 

What should I wear to my first self-defence class?

Comfort is key! We recommend wearing light, flexible gym clothes, such as leggings or shorts and a t-shirt, we train with bare feet but you can keep your socks on. Bring a bottle of water and a positive attitude. You’ll fit right in! 

How is Krav Maga different from women’s Jiu-Jitsu classes?

While both martial arts are great for women to learn self-defence, Krav Maga focuses on real-world, practical techniques that teach you how to protect yourself quickly and effectively in everyday situations. It’s less about competition or ground-based grappling and more about instinctive movements, situational awareness and techniques designed to help you make an effective escape. In a real-life self defence scenario, you want to avoid getting to the ground, Krav Maga teaches these techniques that avoid using strength.
