Join us for a dynamic, hands-on workshop focused on the essential foundations of physical self-defence. Whether you're new to self-defence or have previous martial arts experience, this session is designed to empower you with practical, realistic, simple and effective skills that anyone can learn. This workshop includes insights from Krav Maga Australia’s unique approach, incorporating our refined perspective and additional concepts and a trauma-informed approach to enhance your understanding and skillset.
We Will Cover:
- De-escalation principles – how to defuse situations before they turn physical
- Social vs. anti-social violence – understanding different types of aggression and the appropriate responses
- Pre-attack indicators – spotting the warning signs and appropriate actions
- Threat assessment – reading body language to gauge potential level of threat
- Flinch response training – turning your instinctive reactions into defensive tools
- Shredding techniques – primal, effective, and accessible methods of self-defence requiring no prior experience
Krav Maga is not a martial art, it is a realistic street-based self-defence system. This seminar addresses proactive actions to avoid dangerous situations and equip participants with practical and effective self-defence techniques for scenarios where avoidance isn't possible.
